Danny C has been involved in the UK Garage scene since its early development in London back in the 90s. Before the UKG scene, Danny was heavily involved in live bands and the house music birth. Danny founded UKG record label AIM Records in 1994, which now has a sister label ALIVE IN MIND which is devoted to house.
Danny made his debut appearance on radio station Upfront 99.3 FM in 1997 where he was given a weekly show.
It was about that time he started to write and produce UK Garage tracks, coming from a musical background the transition was a smooth one.
Forming the successful Speed Garage outfit Missing in Action then the UK Garage production unit The Corporation and the label AIM UK/Records. Also co-writing and producing alongside triple award winning McViper for his debut album which involved working with Mutya from the chart topping Sugar Babes (Completed)
Released in 2005 was Nikkie S & Nyke's FREESYLE CD which was also engineered by Danny C which led to a new album project for the boys set for major release and also co-writing, producing, engineering and featuring on one of their possible singles "Saveloy" which helped to seal the deal.
Danny C and the Milkymans also made a England World Cup Record for the 2006 World Cup which was called "Better Than The Rest" and it received massive support from the major radio stations such as Talksport National Radio, EZ on Kiss FM called it "Garage Rock" and Robin Banks liked it so much he played it three times then put it on the Kiss website. Choice FM did the same and also did a newsflash interview which was also aired on Capital FM and XFM. Also Tim Westwood had the boys on Radio 1 for an interview and called the track "Gezzer Garage". The South London Press also did a story on them to drum up some extra support.
Danny C and Lisa C (Label Manager at the time), also appeared on Richee Vee's show on 1xtra, showcasing all the new releases on AIM. Danny C did the majority of the production on Wiley's album, "Boys Better Know", and Devlins debut album - "Tales From the Crypt" plus the OT Crews and the shots latest mix CD from the MC Sez, and he did the vocal production and mix down on Low Deeps debut album.
Danny C worked with ghetto on his album " Ghetto Gospel" which has been released and Danny C has also worked on Ghettos album "No Introduction" and the mix tape, plus he worked on So Solids "Asher D". So Solids McHarvey has worked with Danny C on one of his albums.
Danny C worked on a range of albums like "Keeping it Blonde" by Laura Mason, "The Pukka Package" by Nikkie S and Nyke and the debut album "Unsung", from Low Deep. Danny C worked with Wiley on the track "She Likes" and "123", plus Dollar the Dustman's album, he had an early input into Tynchy Stryders album, he has also worked on Devlins "London Calling" album, the Sketchman album and the Birmingham McLady Leshurr's album which has been released.
Regular in the studio Scru Fizzer, Rap Rave (Ministry of sound) being many of the tracks recorded at AIM
Danny C is full time at AIM Studio's working in all fields of audio production including Vocal/Radio Jingles/Radio Adverts and Music production and of course the future releases for AIM Records.
